The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of September 2023. As per the report; 26,317 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of September 2023.
Hubballi Airport registered a decrease of 8.89% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 28,885 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of August 2023.
The airport registered 398 flight movements in the month of September-2023. Hubballi had handled 418 flights in August-2023. A decrease of 4.78% in flight movements is observed.

The airport handled 8 MT of Cargo in the month of September-2023. Hubballi had handled 12 MT of Cargo during August-2023. A decrease of 33.33% in Cargo load is observed.
During the same month last year (September-2022), Hubballi Airport had handled 451 flight movements and 22,913 passengers. The airport had handled 4 MT of Cargo during the same month.

IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune. The Delhi and Mumbai sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
