To ensure smooth vehicular movement near Rani Chennamma Circle in Hubballi, Hubballi Dharwad City Police has made some traffic diversions effective from tomorrow.
The decision has been made owing to the Construction of Rani Chennamma Circle flyover. The diverted route and other details are as follows.
Hosur Circle to Gadag Road – Heavy Vehicles: From Hosur Circle to Basava Vana, Old bus stand, Ayodhya Hotel, Sangolli Rayanna Circle and join Gadag Road.
Hosur Circle to Vijayapura Road – Buses and Light vehicles: From Hosur Circle to Bembalagi Cross, Baliga Cross, Hubballi Scan Center, Desai overbridge and join Vijayapura road.
Hosur Circle to Vijayapura road – Heavy Vehicles: From Hosur circle to Basava Vana, Chennamma Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Pinto circle, Gadag ring road and join Vijayapura road.
Navalgund side to Hubballi – Buses: Buses should take Sarvodaya circle, KH Patil Road, Left turn at Shringar Hotel cross, and join further towards Gadag Road.
Court circle to Rani Chennamma Circle – Buses: Take the left turn at Sangolli Rayanna Circle, U-turn at Chitaguppi Circle and reach Rani Chennamma Circle.
Sarvodaya circle to Karwar Road – All vehicles: Desai Cross underbridge, Baliga Cross, North Traffic Police station, Glasshouse road and reach Karwar road.
The heavy and goods vehicles coming from Navalgund and Gadag side are not allowed to enter the city. They should use ring road to continue towards Bengaluru or Karwar.
Heavy and goods vehicles coming to Hubballi, should take the ring road and reach Gabbur circle and enter the city via Old PB Road or Karwad Road. Citizens are requested to co-operate.
