Hubballi Dharwad will host National Youth Festival (NYF 2023) starting from 12th January till 16th January 2023 (5 days).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate NYF 2023 at Railway Ground in Hubballi on January 12th at 4 PM.

More than 7500 youth delegates representing States and UTs, NYKS, and NSS are planned to take part in the five-day events showcasing their talents and exclusive culture. The complete details of the event are as follows.

Format of the event: The event will take place in 4 phases. Phase 1: Mindful mornings (6 AM to 8 AM), Youth Summit (10 AM to 1 PM), Indigenous Sports Awareness (2:30 PM to 5 PM), and Cultural Celebrations (7 PM onwards).

Category of events: Competitive and Non-competitive events, Youth Summit, Young Artists Camp, Food Festival and Yuva Kriti, Adventure Camp, and Indigenous Sports and Martial Arts.

The National Youth Festival is an Annual gathering of young artists with various activities including competitive ones. It is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in collaboration with State Governments.

To celebrate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, 12th January is celebrated as National Youth Day. The first National Youth Festival was held in the year 1995 from 12th to 16th January at Bhopal.

The Youth Festival has been jointly organized by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Karnataka, Department of Sports, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, and NSS.
