Water Adventure Sports activities have been organized at Kelageri Lake, Dharwad as part of the National Youth Festival 2023 (NYF 2023).
The Dharwad district administration has already undertaken the task of cleaning Kelageri Lake, Dharwad to make it suitable for various types of water sports.
Various Adventure water sports activities included at Kelageri Lake (Location) are as follows: Jet Ski, Speed Boat, Kayak, Rapat boat, Banana ride, Bumpy ride, etc.
Those registered for the National Youth Festival can participate for free. A nominal amount will be collected from the visiting public if they wish to participate in any of the activities.
Hubballi Dharwad is hosting National Youth Festival (NYF 2023) starting from 12th January till 16th January 2023 (5 days). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it on January 12th.
More than 7500 youth delegates will take part in the five-day event showcasing their talent and exclusive culture. The complete details of the event are as follows.

The Youth Festival has been jointly organized by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Karnataka, Department of Sports, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, and NSS.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Youth Festival in Hubballi. The program will be held in Railway ground, Hubballi where preparations are underway on a war footing.
