Rishi Sunak is the husband of Akshata Murthy who hails from Hubballi. Akshata Murthy is the daughter of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy, the Chairperson of Infosys foundation.
Akshata Murthy was born in 1980 at Hubballi. She was raised by her maternal grandparents at Hubballi as NR Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy worked to launch their dream venture Infosys.
Akshata Murthy met Rishi Sunak, the current prime minister of the United Kingdom at Stanford University while pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
