Tikare road, one of the famous shopping areas of Dharwad city has got a new look. The road has been decked with colourful umbrellas, all thanks to the Dharwad Mobile Utsava.
Dharwad Mobile Utsava has been organized at Tikare Road, Dharwad to celebrate the Deepavali festival. The event which started on 17th October, will continue to be there till 26th October.
To attract the visitors, the organizers have decided to convert Tikare road into Umbrella street. We can find such Umbrella streets across the world, it has finally made its way to the Dharwad.
Umbrella street began in 2011 as part of the annual Agitagueda Art festival in the small town of Agueda in Portugal. Since then, many cities and towns have started adding Umbrella streets.
Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) Mayor Iresh Anchatageri inaugurated the Dharwad Mobile Utsava. Many mobile OEMs are participating in the event.
The festival has been organized to have direct interaction with the customers and give them an in-hand experience with the products.
The event will also highlight the differences between offline and online purchases, and to inform the after-sales services to be provided to the customers.
