Dharwad district has recorded a minimum temperature of 9.7°C, the second coldest in the state. Dharwad had recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4°C yesterday, the coldest in Karnataka.
Hassan recorded a minimum temperature of 9.2°C making it the coldest place in Karnataka beating Dharwad by 0.5°C.

According to the data published by India Meteorological Department (IMD Bengaluru), Dharwad recorded a maximum temperature of 26.8°C and a minimum of 9.7°C.

12 districts reported a dip in the Maximum temperature in Karnataka, and as many as 18 districts in the state reported a dip in the minimum temperature.
The cold wave is likely to continue for a few more days stated the press release from the IMD, Bengaluru.
