Dharwad district records 9.4°C, coldest in the state

Cold wave has gripped several parts of North Karnataka. Dharwad district has recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4°C, the coldest in the state.

According to the data published by India Meteorological Department (IMD Bengaluru), Dharwad district recorded a maximum temperature of 26.8°C and a minimum temperature of 9.4°C.

Maximum and Minimum temperature recorded by few other cities in Karnataka:

  • Vijayapura 28.0°C – 10.2°C
  • Bidar 26.4°C – 10.5°C
  • Ballari 30.1°C – 10.7°C
  • Hassan 33.2°C – 11.2°C
  • Gadag 27.6°C – 12.1°C
  • Raichur 29.4°C – 13.0°C
  • Belagavi 26.6°C – 13.2°C
  • Bengaluru 27.0°C – 15.6°C
  • Mysuru 28.0°C – 19.2°C
  • Mangaluru 32.0°C – 21.9°C

As many as 12 districts reported a dip in the temperature, the cold wave is likely to continue for a few more days.
