27,642 Vaccine Doses were administered in a single day at Dharwad district yesterday. Dharwad DC Nitesh Patil said that the number of doses administered is the highest in a day so far and the district has given more doses than the specified target.
Earlier yesterday, District Incharge Minister Jagadish Shettar inaugurated the largest vaccination drive at CR Ground, Karwar road. “Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, The largest vaccination drive has been started across the country, people shouldn’t hesitate to take the vaccine” he added.
201 vaccination centers were established in the Dharwad district. The vaccination drive was well received by the public. There were around 50,480 vaccine doses available, and the district administration had a target to vaccinate around 27,000 beneficiaries.
The vaccination drive was well-received across Karnataka. The state administered 10 Lakh+ vaccine doses yesterday. BBMP vaccinated 1,72,713 beneficiaries, whereas Belagavi district administered 1,01,528 vaccine doses.
