The district administration and HDMC have geared up to conduct a one-day Mega Vaccination drive in Hubballi Dharwad today. The drive is being conducted as part of the nationwide Vaccination drive announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the drive, Priority Vaccine will be provided for anyone above 45 years of age, Healthcare workers and Frontline workers of 18+ age, and those due for 2nd dose of Vaccination. Citizens can visit any one of the designated Vaccination centers to get vaccinated.
On June 8th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced a Centralized Vaccination drive that facilitates free vaccines for all above 18 years of age. As of now, the drive is being limited to frontline workers of 18+ age and soon it will be extended to everyone once all frontline workers are vaccinated.
