Minister of Railways, Communication, Electronics and Information Technology Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will visit Hubballi Dharwad to inaugurate a few railway facilities in Hubballi Dharwad.
Ashwini Vaishnaw will depart Delhi at 6:40 AM (through 6E 2017 flight) and reach Hyderabad at 9:00 AM. He will then take Hyderabad Hubballi flight (6E 7417) to reach Hubballi at 10:50 AM.
He will visit Sawai Gandharva Kala Mandira at 11:00 AM to Release the Commemorative stamp in the memory of Pandit Sawai Gandharva.
The railway minister will then proceed towards Dharwad to inaugurate the redeveloped Dharwad Railway Station. A small function has been organised at Dharwad from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
South Western Railway (SWR) had undertaken the beautification works at Dharwad Railway Station at a cost of ₹ 20 Crores. The renovation works were completed recently.
Then he will inaugurate the 3rd entry of Hubballi Railway Station and the remodelled Hubballi yard at 3:00 PM. The function has been organised at 3rd entrance of the Hubballi Railway Station.
Apart from it, Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off Hubballi to Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast express at 4:00 PM. The train provides much needed national capital to Gadag, Vijayapura people.
Direct train to Delhi was a long pending demand from the citizens of Hubballi Dharwad. Finally, the wait is over as the railway minister will flag off a new train in between Hubballi and Hazrat Nizamuddin.
He will then take the Hubballi Chennai flight (6E7083) to reach Chennai at 6:30 PM. From there he will take the Delhi flight (6E2752) to reach Delhi at 10:25 PM.
