Pralhad Joshi meets Nitin Gadkari, asks to start Widening of Hubballi Dharwad bypass

Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi met Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari yesterday in Delhi and discussed about Starting construction of Hubballi Dharwad bypass.

Informing the same on Twitter, Pralhad Joshi said that “Widening of Hubballi-Dharwad Bypass Road is a priority to the government for the convenience of the public”.

“The road widening tender has already been approved and the minister has also given directions to start the work soon. Widening of bypass will enable smooth traffic movement”. he added.

Union Minsiter Nitin Gadkari has also promised to construct Underpasses for all of the four-lane and six-lane roads around the twin cities.

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari had laid the foundation stone for the much-awaited Widening of the Hubballi Dharwad bypass on February 28th, 2022.

Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of the project has already been issued to the joint venture of New Delhi based M/s APS Hydro Private Limited and M/s R&C Infra Engineers Private Limited.

The 31.6km stretch of the road will be widened to a 6 lane expressway including 4 lane service road (2+2 lane on both sides).
