Dharwad district has reported the highest ever cases in a single day i.e 546 fresh cases. Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the Dharwad district, and the active cases are nearing the 3,000 mark. Dharwad district is witnessing a rise in fresh cases for the past two weeks.
According to the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Dharwad district reported 546 fresh Covid-19 cases. 275 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 6 deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
Karnataka reported 34,804 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Bengaluru alone reported 20,733 fresh cases. 6,982 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 143 deaths have been reported in Karnataka. Bengaluru alone reported 77 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Tumakuru and Kodagu reported 1000+ fresh cases. And Mysuru, Mandya, Kolar, Hasana, Ballari, and Bengaluru Rural reported 700+ fresh cases. At present, India is experiencing the second wave of Covid-19. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases is increasing day by day. It is expected that India might reach the peak by the May 2nd week.
