Dharwad district has reported the highest ever cases in a single day i.e 1,021 fresh cases. For the first time since the pandemic hit, the district has reported 1000+ cases. Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the Dharwad district with more than 4,500 active cases.
According to the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Dharwad district reported 1,021 fresh Covid-19 cases. 558 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 4 deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
Karnataka reported 44,438 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Bengaluru alone reported 22,112 fresh cases. 20,901 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 239 deaths have been reported. Bengaluru alone reported 115 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Dharwad, Hassana, Kalaburagi, and Mandya districts reported 1000+ fresh Covid-19 cases. Mysuru and Tumakuru reported 2000+ cases. Mysuru reported 2,685 new cases while Tumakuru reported 2,361 new Covid-19 cases.
