South Western Railway has decided to conduct a Statutory Inspection by Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) and Speed Trial with Electric Loco of 65RKm section in between Hubballi East Cabin and Alnawar on Monday i.e 08.03.2021.
The section is part of Hosapete-Hubballi-TinaiGhat Doubling and Electrification project. Electrification of Hosapete to Hulkoti (around 99Rkm) has already been completed. Works between Hulkoti-Hubballi and Alnavar-Castlerock is going on swiftly and expected to be completed by June 2021.
Schedule of CRS Inspection and Speed Trial
- 8:10 AM – 8:25AM: Light run of Inspection Special in between Hubballi and Kusugal Railway Station.
- 8:45 AM – 8:55AM: Light run of Inspection Special in between Kusugal and Hubballi East Cabin.
- 9:00 AM – 2:00PM: Inspection of Railway Electrification Works in between Hubballi East Cabin and Alnawar.
- 3:00PM – 4:00PM: Speed Trial with Electric Loco (WAP-7) in between Alnawar to Hubballi East Cabin via Dharwad, Navalur and Hubballi West Cabin.
- 4:00PM – 4:10PM: Light run of Inspection Special in between Hubballi East Cabin and Kusugal Railway Station.
- 4:10PM – 5:10PM: Light run of Inspection Special in between Kusugal and Hubballi Railway Station.
