Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of April-2023. As per the report; 31,539 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of April-2023.
Hubballi Airport registered a decrease of 1.3% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 31,929 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of March-2023.
The airport registered 568 flight movements in the month of April-2023. Hubballi had handled 548 flights in March-2023. An increase of 3.64% in flight movements is observed.

The airport handled 5 MT of Cargo in the month of April-2023. Hubballi had handled 5 MT of Cargo during March-2023. No change was observed in the amount of Cargo handled.
During the same month last year (April-2022), Hubballi Airport had handled 431 flight movements and 19,512 passengers. The airport had handled 6 MT of Cargo during the same month.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
