There is some good news for the business community of Hubballi Dharwad. North Karnataka’s first dedicated Cargo terminal at Hubballi Airport has restarted operations.
IndiGo, one of the largest airlines in India has taken over the Cargo handling at the dedicated Cargo terminal of Hubballi. One can book cargo consignments to any IndiGo destinations from Hubballi.
IndiGo has taken over Cargo terminal operations from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) on a Self-handling agreement. The cargo terminal is now operated by the Indigo team.

Hubballi is the only airport in North Karnataka with a dedicated Cargo terminal. Recently, the HBX has been selected under Krishi Udan giving huge impetus to the Cargo handling potential of Hubli Airport.
Dedicated Cargo terminal at Hubballi is spread across 1000sq.m and is having one-time hold capacity of 100MT & Annual capacity of 15,000 MT.
The Cargo terminal facility at Hubballi is capable of handling all types of goods viz General, Perishable, and other goods like Valuable and Dangerous goods.
