26,411 students to take 2nd PUC exam in Dharwad district

Starting today, a total of 26,411 students from all streams will be appearing for the 2nd PUC exam in Dharwad district. The district administration has arranged 43 examination centers.

Dharwad DC Divya Prabhu said that the Invigilator of the examination centre and the Principal of the college should ensure that the examination happens without a single problem.

She was speaking with the reporters after presiding the preparatory meeting on 2nd PUC examinations. The exams will take place from March 1st (today) till March 22.

A total of 26,411 students including Arts, Science, and Commerce departments will appear for the exam. It includes 12,704 boys and 12,707 girls.

Additional DC Geeta C.D said that Lecturers have been appointed as members of the special vigilance team for each examination center. Except for Invigilator, no one will be allowed to use Mobile phones.

16 routes have been identified in various parts of the district to distribute question papers to all examination centers in the district. 03 members are appointed as individual teams to carry question papers.

Any suspicious people roaming around the examination centers, should be reported to the police immediately. No Xerox or Computer shops will be allowed within a periphery of 200m from the examination center.

District DDPU Suresh K said that the principals of the government and Aided pre-university colleges have been appointed as the Question Paper Custodians for each examination centers.

Various officials of the district education department, including block education officers from all taluks of Dharwad district and principals of government and aided private colleges, were present in the meeting.
