Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for October 2022. As per the reports; 24,359 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of October 2022.
Hubballi Airport registered an increase of 6.3% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 22,913 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of September 2022.
The airport registered 468 flight movements in the month of October 2022. Hubballi had handled 451 flights during September 2022. An increase of 3.7% in flight movements is observed.
The airport handled 4MT of Cargo in the month of October 2022. Hubballi had handled 4MT of Cargo during September 2022. No change has been observed as far as Cargo is concerned.
During the same month last year (October 2021), Hubballi Airport had handled 489 flight movements and 21,341 passengers. The airport had handled 3 MT of Cargo during the same month.
Recently, IndiGo has started a direct flight to Delhi from Hubballi Airport. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operated it on all days.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Pune, Jaipur, and Jodhpur.
