IndiGo starts Hubballi to Delhi direct flight

India’s largest airline IndiGo has started direct flight in between the national capital Delhi and Hubballi from today.

The inaugural flight 6E-5624 departed Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi at 10:16 AM and reached Hubballi Airport at 12:22 PM.

The return flight, 6E-5625 departed Hubballi Airport at 1:27 PM. 186-seater Airbus A320 Neo (VT-IIA) did the inaugural flight in between Hubballi and Delhi.

Hubli to Delhi flight: Landing and Takeoff at Hubballi Airport

The inaugural flight had an excellent load on day one. 179 people traveled from Delhi to Hubballi (Book load 181), and 151 people boarded the flight from Hubballi to Delhi (Book load 156).

Schedule: 6E-5624 leaves Delhi Airport at 10:00 AM and reaches Hubballi at 12:45 PM. In the return direction, flight 6E-5625 leaves Hubballi at 1:15 PM and reaches Delhi Airport at 3:45 PM.

Frequency and Aircraft type: IndiGo will operate Hubballi to Delhi flights daily. The flight will be operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 or Airbus A320 Neo aircraft.

To mark the event, a small function was organized at Hubballi Airport. Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi, Airport Advisory Committee members, and IndiGo Airline officials attended the function.

Hubballi already had a direct flight connection to Delhi (To Hindon Airport). Star Air operates 50 seater Embraer E-145 in Hubballi Hindon (Delhi) sector 4 days/week.

Recently, Hubballi Airport has regained third place in Karnataka as far as the number of passengers is concerned. Additional flight to Delhi would further strengthen Hubballi’s chance to retain 3rd place.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting the resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa flights and adding a few other potential routes like Pune, Jaipur, and Jodhpur.
