Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pair wise Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of June-2022.
According to the data released, 23,340 passengers traveled from Hubballi Airport and around 1 Tonne of Cargo and 3.2 Tonnes of Mail was lifted from Hubballi Airport.
Bengaluru sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 9,579 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,758 passengers arrived and 4,821 passengers departed).
Bengaluru sector also contributed the highest cargo shipment from Hubballi Airport. A total of 3.1 Tonnes of Cargo was lifted including 2.6 Tonnes of Mail.
3,431 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (1,632 passengers arrived and 1,799 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 1.1 tonnes of Cargo including mail.
3,509 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai Airport (1,832 passengers arrived and 1,677 passengers departed). Mumbai sector did not contribute any Cargo movement.
Hyderabad sector had 1,482 arriving passengers and 2,000 departing passengers. Hindon (Delhi) sector had 792 arriving passengers and 781 departing passengers from HBX.
Mangalore sector saw 444 arriving passengers and 547 departing passengers. Mysuru sector had 342 arriving passengers and 433 departing passengers from HBX.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of Ahmedabad, Kochi and Goa sectors and adding few other potential sectors like Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, etc.
