Trial run of Vande Bharat Express to Hubballi Dharwad tomorrow

South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to conduct a trial run of Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Dharwad via Davanagere and Hubballi tomorrow (June 19).

The train will depart KSR Bengaluru (SBC) at 5:45 AM and reaches Dharwad at 12:40 PM. En route, the train stops at Yeshwantpur at 5:55 AM, Davanagere at 9:58 AM, and Hubballi at 12:10 PM.

In the return direction, it leaves Dharwad at 1:15 PM and reaches KSR Bengaluru at 8:10 PM. En route, the train stops at Hubballi (1:35 PM), Davanagere (3:48 PM), and Yeshwantpur (7:45 PM).

South Western Railway (SWR) successfully conducted a trial run of Vande Bharat Express rake between Bengaluru and Arsikere on 17th June (Yesterday).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Dharwad via Video conference on June 26th, 2023.

The train will operate on 6 days/week (except Tuesday). Vande Bharat Express will cover a 487.47km distance in 6 hours and 55 minutes between Bengaluru and Dharwad.

The average speed of the train in both directions will be 70.54 kmph. But, South Western Railway (SWR) needs to reduce the travel time to get good patronage.

The train will comprise 7 Chair Car coaches and 1 Executive Chair Car coach. South Western Railway (SWR) is yet to decide on the pricing of the train.

Apart from Bengaluru to Dharwad, PM Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate Mumbai to Goa, Patna to Ranchi, Bhopal to Indore, and Bhopal to Jabalpur VB trains via Video conference on the same day.
