Trains between Bengaluru and Hubballi get additional coaches to clear Festival rush

South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to augment additional coaches in a few trains between Bengaluru and Hubballi to clear the extra rush due to the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

DRM Hubballi said that “The following trains will be augmented with additional coaches as per the details mentioned below to clear the extra rush of passengers”. Details of the trains are as follows.

Train number 07340 and 07339 KSR Bengaluru Hubballi KSR Bengaluru special fare superfast train will be augmented with 3 additional Sleeper coaches from 14th to 20th September.

Train number 17309 and 17310 Yeshwantpur Vasco da Gama Yeshwantpur Express train will be augmented with 1 additional 3-tier AC coach from 14th September to 4th October.

Train number 12079 and 12810 KSR Bengaluru Hubballi KSR Bengaluru Janshatabdi Express train will be augmented with 1 additional Non-AC Chair Car coach from 15th September to 18th September.

Trains between Bangalore and Hubballi Dharwad are experiencing additional bookings due to the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Some of the trains have crossed the Waiting list of 200.

Passengers are requested to make use of the services provided by SWR, stated an official press release by SWR.
