A thick blanket of Fog had covered parts of Hubballi City earlier today. Vehicular movement was affected as the visibility dropped below 100m. High humidity levels were also observed as the city saw humidity levels reaching up to 90%.

Chennai to Hubli flight delayed
An IndiGo flight (6E 7986) VT-IYG operating from Chennai International Airport to Hubballi Airport was delayed and it landed around 30 minutes late due to heavy fog covered around Hubballi Airport.
According to FlightRadar24 report, 6E 7986 approached Hubballi Airport around 8:15 AM but it couldn’t get landing permission due to heavy fog. The flight hovered around Hubballi Airport for half an hour. Eventually, the fog cleared up and the flight safely landed at Hubballi Airport around 8:46 AM.
