SWR to run special train between Bengaluru and Hubballi Dharwad

South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run a special train 07357/07358 between Bengaluru and Vasco Da Gama via Hubballi Dharwad on 11th August 2023.

SWR has arranged the train to clear the extra rush on account of Independence day. The train will do one trip each from Bengaluru and Vasco Da Gama via Hubballi Dharwad. The details are as follows.

Train Number 07357 leaves Yeshwantpura at 6:15 PM on 11th August (Friday) and reaches Hubballi Railway Station at 2:00 AM and reaches Dharwad railway station at 2:38 AM.

The train continues its journey towards Vasco Da Gama at 2:40 AM from Dharwad. The stoppages and other details viz, the composition of the train are as follows.

En route, the train stops at Tumkur, Arsikere, Birur, Davanagere, Harihar, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Castlerock, Kulem, Sanverdem Church, Madgaon and terminates at Vasco Da Gama.

Train Number 07358 leaves Vasco Da Gama at 2:30 PM on 12th August (Saturday) and reaches Dharwad at 7:03 AM and Hubballi at 8:00 PM. The train reaches Yeshwantpura railway station at 4:15 AM.

The train has a composition of 20 coaches comprising of 1 AC 1-tier coach, 2 AC 2-tier coaches, 7 AC 3-tier coaches, 8 Sleeper coaches, and 2 Second class Luggage cum Guard room with disabled friendly coaches.

The train will have its primary maintenance at KSR Bengaluru area and secomdary maintenance at Vasco Da Gama. Bookings for the same have been opened in IRCTC website.

Mant trains in between Bengaluru and Hubballi Dharwad have gone into 100+ waiting list due to Independence day rush. Passengers are requested to utilize the train service provided by SWR.
