Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of January-2023. As per the report; 29,679 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of February-2023.
Hubballi Airport registered a decrease of 8.6% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 32,469 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of January-2023.
The airport registered 465 flight movements in the month of January-2023. Hubballi had handled 536 flights in January-2023. A decrease of 13.24% in flight movements is observed.

The airport handled 5MT of Cargo in the month of February-2023. Hubballi had handled 5MT of Cargo during January-2023. No change has been observed as far as Cargo is concerned.
During the same month last year (February-2022), Hubballi Airport had handled 244 flight movements and 11,922 passengers. The airport had handled 5 MT of Cargo during the same month.

IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, and Jodhpur, etc.
