Service of Hubballi Thanjavur train extended

South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to extend the service of Hubballi Thanjavur Hubballi (Train number 07325 and 07326) till May 29th on Train on Demand (TOD) basis.

The weekly train will do 5 trips on each side starting from May 1st. Other dates of service will be on 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May and 29th May from Hubballi side.

Train number 07325 Hubballi Thanjavur Weekly Special express leaves Hubballi at 8:25 PM on Monday and reaches Thanjavur at 2:15 PM on the next day i.e Tuesday.

En route the train stops at Haveri, Ranebennur, Harihar, Davanagere, Birur, Arsikere, Tumkur, Chikkabanavar, Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru.

Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Salem junction, Karur junction, Tiruchirapalli junction, Budalur and finally reaches Thanjavur at 2:15 PM on the next day.

Train number 07326 Thanjavur Hubballi Weekly express special leaves Thanjavur at 7:40 PM on Tuesday and reaches SSS Hubballi Railway Station at 12:30 PM on the next day i.e Wednesday.

The stoppages will remain the same as stated above. Primary maintenance of the train will be at Hubballi and Secondary maintenance of the train will be at Thanjavur.

The train will have a composition of 20 coaches comprising of 1 AC 2-tier coach, 3 AC 3-tier coaches, 9 Sleeper coaches, 5 Unreserved coaches and 2 Luggage cum Brakevan with Disabled friendly compartment.

South Western Railway (SWR) may regularize the service if it gets good response. Bookings for the same have been opened. Bookings can be done through IRCTC portalĀ here.
