South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to extend the services of Train Number 07355/07356 Hubballi Rameshwaram Hubballi express train till March 31st, 2024.
The train was initially notified to run till 30th December. The train had received excellent response from travelers. The schedule and other details of the train are as follows.
Train Number 07355 SSS Hubballi – Rameshwaram (till Ramanathapuram) Weekly express train will leave Hubballi at 6:30 AM on every Saturday effective from January 6th, 2024 to 30th March 2024.
En route, the train stops at Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davanagere, Chikjajur, Birur, Arsikere, Tumakuru, Yeshwantpur, Banaswadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri.
Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchirapalli Junction, Pudukkottai, Karaikkudi Junction, Manamadurai Junction, and Ramanathapuram in both directions.
Train Number 07356 Rameshwaram (from Ramanathapuram) – SSS Hubballi Weekly Special Express train leaves Ramanathapuram at 9:55 PM on every Sunday starting from December 31st, 2023.
The train will do weekly trips with effective from January 7th, 2024 till 31st March 2024. The train reaches SSS Hubballi Junction Railway Station at 7:25 PM the next day i.e. on Monday.
The train will have a composition of 20 coaches comprising of 1 AC 2-tier coach, 3 AC 3-tier coaches, 9 Sleeper coaches, 5 Second class coaches, and 2 Luggage-cum-Brakevan with Disabled friendly compartments.
Passengers are requested to make use of the services of the train, stated an official press release from South Western Railway (SWR).
Kindly start a day train (super fast express) from Bangalore Cantonment to Gulbarga, starting from Bangalore Cantonment at 09:00 hours and reaching Gulbarga at 19:00 hours.
In return direction, from Gulbarga starting at 07:00 hours and reaching Bangalore Cantonment 17:00 hours.
There is heavy traffic on this route. Am sure it will be a highly feasible train in terms of earning to Railways and convenience to passengers.
