Passenger statistics of Hubballi Airport for July 2023

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released City-Pairwise Passenger, Cargo, and Air Traffic Statistics of Hubballi Airport for the month of July 2023.

According to the data released, a total of 28,215 passengers traveled from Hubballi Airport, and around 7 Tonnes of Cargo and 3.8 Tonnes of Mail was lifted from Hubballi Airport.

Delhi sector contributed the highest number of passengers from HBX. A total of 7,838 passengers used Hubballi Airport (4,251 passengers arrived and 3,587 passengers departed). Delhi sector contributed 5.5 tonnes of Cargo including mail.

7,701 passengers travelled to and from Bengaluru Airport (3,740 passengers arrived and 3,961 passengers departed). Bengaluru sector contributed 3 tonnes of Cargo including mail.

4,383 passengers travelled to and from Mumbai Airport (2,184 passengers arrived and 2,199 passengers departed). Mumbai sector recorded 1 tonne of Cargo movement.

3,519 passengers travelled to and from Chennai Airport (1,750 passengers arrived and 1,769 passengers departed). Chennai sector recorded 0.6 tonnes of Cargo including Mail.

Hyderabad sector had 1,822 arriving passengers and 1,935 departing passengers. Pune sector had 449 arriving passengers and 568 departing passengers from Hubballi.

IndiGo has decided to upgrade Hubli to Mumbai flight to Airbus A320 from the Winter Schedule 2023. As of now, IndiGo is operating Hubli to Mumbai flight on a 78-seater ATR 72-600.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting the resumption of the AhmedabadKochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential sectors like JaipurJodhpur, etc.

It was very convenient for hubli keralites to go from hubli to Kerala by flight and i guess there are more then 400 families staying in hubli it was really gud to travel by flight and reach Kerala very soon it will be of great help for everyone if the flight resumes same as before request to DGCA to do the need full. Thank you.

  2. Expecting Indigo to schedule more flights to Delhi as lot of north Indian students are studying in Dharwd.

  3. Why flight to Mangaluru cancelled there are many Mangaloreans are in Hubli and it was very Convenient to all of them. It is unfortunate flights to out of state and no inside Karnataka. Kannada olatagars are sleeping.
