North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has decided to operate special buses to the famous Jog Falls. The buses will operate from Hubballi (New Bus Stand), Haveri, and Ranebennur.
NWKRTC has priced it at ₹350, ₹325 and ₹400 from Hubballi, Haveri, and Ranebennur respectively. The fare includes to and fro charges. The schedule of buses is as follows.
The bus departs Hubballi at 7:30 AM and reaches Jogfalls around 12:30 PM. Visitors can enjoy the views of falls till 4:30 PM. The bus departs from Jog falls at 4:30 PM and reaches Hubballi New Bus Stand at 9:00 PM.
Similarly, the bus from Haveri departs at 8:30 AM and reaches Jogfalls around 1:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy the views of Jogfalls till 4:00 PM. The bus then departs from Jogfalls at 4:00 PM and reaches Haveri at 7:30 PM.
The bus from Ranebennur departs at 8:00 AM and reaches Jogfalls around 1:30 PM. Visitors can enjoy the views of Jogfalls till 4:30 PM. The bus then departs from Jogfalls at 4:30 PM and reaches Ranebennur at 8:00 PM.
Jog falls is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Karnataka. The river Sharavati falls from a height of 830 feet making it the second-highest waterfall in India. The water falls in four cascades namely Raja, Rani, Roller, and Rocket.
