South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to extend the Mysuru Dharwad Mysuru Express (Train number 17301/17302) to Belagavi. The changes are likely to be effective by month end.
The train is going to stop at Alnavar, Londa and Khanapur in the extended portion in both directions. The schedule and other details of the extension are as follows.
The train 17301 reaches Dharwad Railway Station at 7:45 AM and proceeds towards Belagavi at 7:50 AM. The train reaches Belagavi Railway Station at 10:45 AM.
In the return direction, Train 17302 leaves Belagavi Railway Station at 7:45 PM and reaches Dharwad Railway Station at 10:18 PM. The train reaches Mysuru at 7:10 AM on the next day.
Iranna Kadadi, Member of Parliament (MP, Rajya Sabha from Karnataka) shared the news through his Twitter handle. The railway board has approved to extend the train.
Schedule after extension: Train number 17302 leaves Belagavi Railway Station at 7:45 PM and reaches Mysuru at 7:10 AM. The train reaches Dharwad and Hubballi at 10:18 PM and 10:50 PM respectively.
En route, the train stops Khanapur, Londa, Alnavar, Dharwad, Hubballi, Yalvigi, Haveri, Byadgi, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davanagere, Chikkajajur, Birur, Kadur, Arsikere, Hassan, Hole narasipura, Krishnarajanagara.
In the return direction, Train number 17301 leaves Mysuru Railway Station at 10:30 PM and reaches Belagavi at 10:45 AM. The train reaches Hubballi and Dharwad at 7:05 AM and 7:45 AM respectively.
The train has a composition of 22 coaches including 5 General section, 11 Sleeper coaches, 2 Tier-3 AC, 1 Tier-2 AC, 1 AC First class and 2 SLR coaches.
The train is operated by 22 coaches ICF rake with KJM WDP-4D locomotive. Primary maintenance of the train will be done at the Belagavi Railway Station.
