Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of March-2023. As per the report; 31,929 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of March-2023.
Hubballi Airport registered an increase of 7.6% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 29,679 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of February-2023.
The airport registered 548 flight movements in the month of March-2023. Hubballi had handled 465 flights in February-2023. An increase of 17.84% in flight movements is observed.

The airport handled 2MT of Cargo in the month of March-2023. Hubballi had handled 5MT of Cargo during February-2023.
During the same month last year (March-2022), Hubballi Airport had handled 406 flight movements and 20,571 passengers. The airport had handled 6 MT of Cargo during the same month.

IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
