🆕 8:45 AM: Jagadish Shettar from Indian Nation Congress (INC) trailing at Hubballi Dharwad Central. Prasad Abbayya from INC and Arvind Bellad from BJP leading at Hubballi Dharwad East and Hubballi Dharwad West constituencies respectively.
🔴 8:00 AM: The counting of votes for 7 assembly constituencies of the Dharwad district has started at the main building of Agricultural University campus, Dharwad.
District election officer Gurudatt Hegde said that all preparations have been made to count votes. The results are likely to be announced around 1 or 2 PM. Stay tuned for our live updates.
Hubballi Dharwad Central and Hubballi Dharwad West constituencies will have 19 rounds of Counting, while other constituencies will have 17 rounds of Counting.
Seperate rooms have been arranged to count the votes of each assembly constituencies of the Dharwad district. A total of 14 tables have been arranged to count the votes.
Counting of Postal ballots will be started first, After some time Counting of votes recorded in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) will be started, informed the DC.
A total of 11,18,750 voters cast their votes in the polling held in 7 assembly constituencies of the Dharwad district on May 10, with a voting percentage of around 73.45%.
