KIMS gets 570 beds under CSR by Private Companies

Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubballi has received 570 Beds under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by some of the Private companies of Hubballi Dharwad.

Deshpande Foundation has donated 300 beds under the CSR initiative. Likewise, Swarna Construction and Tata Hitachi have donated 100 beds under CSR. Tata Marcopolo has also donated 70 beds to KIMS, Hubballi. Each unit will cost around 8000₹.

Covid patients from the neighboring 7-8 districts are getting treatment in KIMS Campus. According to the DC, they have occupied around 30 to 35% of Beds in KIMS. The addition of Beds will help KIMS to serve more Covid patients.

Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi thanked Private companies for their initiative. Industries Minister and Hubballi Dharwad Central MLA Jagadish Shettar and other officials of KIMS were present.
