Karnataka Unlock 3.0 Update: The Karnataka Government has released Unlock guidelines effective from July 5th, 6 AM. The new guidelines will be effective for two weeks from July 5th.
Night Curfew will continue to be imposed from 9 PM to 5 AM in the State as per the guidelines. In areas outside the Containment Zones, all activities will be permitted, except the following activities:
Theatres, Cinema Halls and Pubs will not be allowed as of now. Swimming pools are permitted for Competitive Training purposes only strictly adhering to SOPs issued by the Government. Sports complexes and Stadia will be opened only for Practise purposes strictly adhering to guidelines. Spectators will not be allowed.
All Social/ Political/ Sports/ Entertainment/ Academic/ Cultural/ Religious functions/ other gatherings and Large congregations are not allowed as of now. Cremation/funerals to be allowed with a maximum of 20 attendees only.
Marriages and Family Functions are permitted to be conducted involving not more than 100 people and strictly adhering to appropriate behavior and prevailing guidelines issued by State Government.
Religious places are allowed to open only for Darshan. No sevas will be allowed. Public transport will be allowed to operate up to seating capacity (100% Capacity). All Educational intuitions/Tutorials/Colleges remain closed until further order.
All Shops, Restaurants, Malls, Private offices, Closed places will have to strictly enforce the guidelines failing which action will be initiated under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
Karnataka Unlock 3.0: Guidelines for Night Curfew
The movement of individuals will remain strictly prohibited between 9 PM to 5 AM, except for essential activities. Patients and their Attendants/Persons requiring the emergency need for movement will be allowed to move.
All Industries/Companies which require operations at night shall be permitted to operate. Movement of employees of such organizations shall be allowed on producing valid ID card/authorization issued by the respective Industry/Company.
Employees and Vehicles of Telecom and Internet Service providers will be allowed on producing valid ID cards issued by their respective organization/institution. Only essential staff/employees of IT and ITeS companies /organizations shall Work from Office. Rest should Work from Home.
Medical, Emergency and Essential services including Pharmacies will be fully functional and all other commercial activities are prohibited.
There will be no restriction in the movement of all types of goods through trucks, goods vehicles, or any goods carriers, including empty vehicles. Home delivery of goods and operations of E-Commerce companies are allowed.
Movement of Buses, Trains and Air travel is permitted. Movement of Public Transport, Private vehicles, and Taxis to and from Airports, Bus terminals/Bus stand, Railway stations, etc, are allowed for facilitating Movement of passengers by Air, Rail, and Road. The movement will be allowed only on displaying valid travel documents/tickets.
