Here is some good news for flyers using Hubballi Airport. IndiGo has increased the frequency of few flights effective from March 28, 2021. DGCA’s Summer Schedule starts on March 28th, so the increase in frequency is a part of Indigo’s Summer Schedule of flight operations. The increase in the frequency of various flights is as follows.
IndiGo has increased the frequency of Hubballi-Kochi flight from 6 days a week to Daily. The flight 6E- 7964 will depart Hubli at 8:35 AM and reach Kochi at 10:20 AM. And the flight 6E 7936 will depart Kochi at 10:50 AM and reach Hubli at 12:40 PM.
IndiGo has also increased the frequency of Hubballi-Goa flight from 6 days a week to Daily. The flight 6E-7995 will depart Hubli at 5:55 PM and reach Goa at 6:40 PM. And the flight 6E 7996 will depart Goa at 7:10 PM and reach Hubli at 8:00 PM.
IndiGo has also increased the frequency of Hubballi-Kannur flight from 3 days/week to 6 days/week. The flight 6E 7981 will depart Hubli at 7:50 AM and reach Kannur at 9:10 AM. And the flight 6E 7979 will depart Kannur at 9:30 AM and reach Hubli at 10:50 AM. The flight will operate on all days except Tuesday.
IndiGo has also made both Hubli to Bangalore flights daily. Earlier only one of the flights was daily and the other one was operating 6 days/week. Effective from March 28th, both the flight to Bangalore will operate daily. The exact schedule of flights from Hubballi Airport can be found here.
IndiGo will also be increasing the frequency of Hubballi-Ahmedabad flight from 3 days/week to 6 days/week from May 1st, 2021. The flight 6E-5993 will depart Hubli at 9:50 AM and reach Ahmedabad at 11:35 AM. And the flight 6E-5994 will depart Hubli at 12:15 PM and reach Ahmedabad at 1:50 PM. The flight will operate on all days except Sunday from May 1.
Air traffic is slowly getting back to normal towards Pre-Covid levels. The addition of the Cargo terminal will help Hubli to get more routes. There has been a demand for direct flights to Delhi, Pune, Jaipur, and Shirdi. Also, TruJet is expected to start Hubli operations from June 2021.
