Hubli Airport has continued to show positive growth as far as passenger numbers are concerned. Though the number of days is less in February (28 vs 31 days in January), yet the airport has managed to show positive growth of nearly 13 percent compared to January.
25,101 passengers used Hubli Airport in the month of February-2021, while the number of passengers in January was 22,239. The airport is showing positive growth month by month and is racing towards achieving pre-covid level passenger numbers.
Announcing the same, AAI’s official handle tweeted that ‘The Passenger Footfall at Hubballi is constantly increasing. AAI is strengthening Safety and Security measures to make travel experience Smooth and Comfortable’. AAI appreciated Hubballi Airport for achieving a feat of 25,000+ passengers in February month.
Recently, Hubballi Airport commenced Cargo services from the existing terminal. North Karnataka’s first dedicated Cargo terminal is likely to be inaugurated by the first week of April. Then we can expect the addition of more flights from the airport.
