Hubballi New Delhi Superfast Express cancelled for a few days

North Central Railway (NCR) has cancelled Hubballi New Delhi (Hazrat Nizamuddin) Superfast Express (Train number 20657 and 20658) for a few days due to yard remodelling works at Mathura Junction.

Train 20657 Hubballi New Delhi Superfast Express commencing journey on 12th January, 19th January, 26th January and 2nd February will be cancelled.

Train 20658 Hazrat Nizamuddin (New Delhi) Hubballi Superfast Express commencing journey on 14th January, 21st January, 28th January, and 4th February will be cancelled.

Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated Hubballi New Delhi Superfast Express (Train number 20657/20658) on the 11th of October 2022.

The train is a dedicated Superfast Express connecting parts of North Karnataka (from Hubballi) to New Delhi via Gadag, Bagalkot and Vijayapura.

However, bookings are available as usual after the above-mentioned dates. Train number 20657 is available to book from 9th February whereas Train 20658 is available to book from 11th February.

Train 20657 Hubballi New Delhi Weekly Superfast Express departs Hubballi Railway Station at 11:50 PM every Friday and reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station at 10:40 AM on Sunday.

En route, the train stops at Gadag, Badami, Bagalkot, Basavana Bagewadi Road, Vijayapura, Solapur, Kurduwadi, Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusval, Itarsi, Rani Kamalapanti, Jhansi, Gwalior, and Agra Cantonment.

Train 20658 Hazrat Nizamuddin Hubballi Weekly Superfast Express departs Hazrat Nizamuddin at 3:55 PM every Sunday and reaches Hubballi Railway Station at 4:00 AM on Tuesday.

The train has a composition of 21 coaches including 10 Sleeper coaches, 3 3-tier AC coaches, 2 2-tier AC, 1 AC First class coach, 2 General class, 2 EOG coaches and One Pantry Coach.

  1. Why Hubli train is targeted, afterall it is just a weekly one !.
    Prahlad Joshi and company caught snoring ?.
    Has Hubli to Ankola line again gone to limbo !.
    At least get Hubli Talagoppa via Sirsi redied at the earliest.

    1. There’s environmental concerns over Sirsi lot of trees and animal habitat will be devastated. I agree with you that trains only to Hubli shouldn’t have been targeted.
