Airport Authority of India has released Air traffic statistics for the month of November 2022. As per the reports; 30,642 passengers used Hubballi Airport during the month of November 2022.
Hubballi Airport has managed to regain 3rd position as far as the number of passengers is concerned. The addition of Delhi flight helped Hubballi to increase the passenger count.
Hubballi registered a whopping increase of 25.79% as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 24,359 passengers used Hubballi Airport in the month of October 2022.
Hubballi registered 487 flight movements in the month of November 2022. Hubballi had handled 468 flights during October 2022. An increase of 4% in flight movements is observed.
Hubballi also handled 1MT of Cargo in the month of November 2022. It had handled 4MT of Cargo during October 2022. A decrease of 75% has been observed as far as Cargo is concerned.
During the same month last year (November 2021), Hubballi Airport had handled 446 flight movements and 21,020 passengers. The airport had handled 4 MT of Cargo during the same month.

Recently, IndiGo has started a direct flight to Delhi from Hubballi. The Delhi sector is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Pune, Jaipur, and Jodhpur.
