The Karnataka Government is looking forward to re-open colleges (Undergraduate and Diploma courses) by next month. The Students, Lecturers, and Staff (those who are 18+) will be vaccinated before re-opening colleges.
Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Jawaid Akhtar in a press release has asked the DCs of all districts and BBMP Commissioner to prepare a list of colleges, students, staff, and lecturers of respective colleges eligible for vaccination.
The colleges will be re-opened only after all the students and staff are vaccinated. The vaccination is likely to be completed by next month. The government will appoint Nodal officers to carry out the vaccination process.
The vaccination for students and staff will be as per Work Place Vaccination Site SOPs set by the central government. All students and staff will be vaccinated at their respective colleges only.
