Goods train derails, Trains affected between Hubballi and Vijayapura

Due to track settlement/sinkage near the Bheema River Bridge, a freight train derailed. Several trains have been affected between Hubballi and Vijayapura. Details are as follows.

Train No. 17319 SSS Hubballi – Hyderabad Express journey commenced from SSS Hubballi on 24.09.2024 is diverted via Gadag, Ballari, Guntakal Bypass, Raichur, Wadi and further continues its normal route. Skipping stoppages at Indi Road, Hotgi, Ganagapur Road, Kalaburgi and Shahabad.

Train No. 07332 SSS Hubballi – Solapur, Journey commencing on 25.09.2024 is cancelled. Train No. 07331 Solapur – SSS Hubballi, Journey commencing on 26.09.2024 is cancelled.

Train No. 07322 Dharwad – Solapur, Journey commencing on 25.09.2024 is cancelled. Train No. 07321 Solapur – Dharwad, Journey commencing on 26.09.2024 is cancelled.

Train No. 16588 Bikaner Jn – Yesvantpur Express Journey commenced from  Bikaner Jn. on 24.09.2024 is diverted via Pune, Miraj, Belagavi and SSS Hubballi. Skipping stoppages at Solapur, Vijayapura, Almatti, Bagalkot and Gadag railway stations.

Train No. 17307 Mysuru – Bagalkot, Journey commencing on 25.09.2024 will be partially cancelled between Solapur and Bagalkot. And will short terminate at Solapur.

Train No. 17308 Bagalkot – Mysuru, Journey commencing on 26.09.2024 will be partially cancelled between Bagalkot and Solapur. And will short originate from Solapur at its scheduled time.

Train No. 16535 Mysuru – Pandharpur, Journey commencing on 25.09.2024 will be partially cancelled between Vijayapura and Pandharpur. And will short terminate at Vijayapura.

Train No. 16536 Pandharpur – Mysuru, Journey commencing on 26.09.2024 will be partially cancelled between Pandharpur and Vijayapura. And will short originate from Vijayapura at its scheduled time.

SWR officials are assessing the situation and working to restore normal operations as swiftly and safely as possible. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
