The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has released Air traffic statistics for the month of February 2024. As per the report; 27,870 passengers used Hubballi Airport in the month of February 2024.
Hubballi Airport registered 11.52% decrease as far as the number of passengers compared to the last month. 31,502 passengers had used Hubballi Airport in the month of January 2024.
The airport registered 363 flight movements in the month of February 2024. Hubli had handled 398 flights in January 2024. A decrease of 8.79% in flight movements is observed.
The airport handled 21 MT of Cargo in the month of February 2024. Hubballi had handled 26 MT of Cargo during January 2024. A decrease of 19.23% in Cargo movements is observed.
During the same month last year (February 2023), Hubli Airport had handled 465 flight movements and 29,679 passengers. The airport had handled 5 MT of Cargo during the same month.
IndiGo operates direct flights to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad. The Delhi and Mumbai sector (temporarily suspended) is operated by 186-seater Airbus A320 aircraft, and IndiGo operates it on all days.
Also, IndiGo has restarted Hubli to Pune direct flight effective from February 2. The airline is operating Hubli to Pune flight 4 days/ week. More details on it here.

Passengers from Hubballi are requesting resumption of the Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Goa sectors and adding a few other potential routes like Jaipur, Kolkata, Jodhpur, etc.
