Dharwad district has reported 217 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The active cases in the district have decreased to 2,386.
According to the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, 470 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Dharwad district and unfortunately, 9 deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
Karnataka reported 8,249 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Bengaluru alone reported 1,154 fresh cases. 14,975 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 159 deaths have been reported. Bengaluru alone reported 48 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Mysuru district also reported 20 deaths which is the second-highest next to Bengaluru urban district. The positivity rate stood at 4.86%. The Case Fatality Rate (CFR) for the day was 1.92%.
