There is some good news for the citizens of Dharwad. Traffic woes near Karnataka University, Dharwad is all set to be cleared permanently very soon.
The central government has supported the construction of Road Under Bridge (RUB) and Circular Interchange at Srinagar Circle near Karnataka University, Dharwad.
Union Minister and Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi informed the same through his social media accounts. The Road Under Bridge (RUB) is coming up at Level crossing 299.
The Road Under Bridge at Level Crossing 299 at Srinagar Circle will be built at a cost of ₹41.59 Crores. The state government had agreed to release half of the funds in November 2022.

Informing about the project, Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi said “MLA of Hubballi Dharwad West Arvind Bellad had discussed about the project, and asked me to implement the same”.
“I realized the importance of the project and discussed it with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The railway minister has approved the project” he added.
Recently, the much-awaited Road Over Bridge at Kalyan Nagar was inaugurated (Read our news here). Dharwad is getting another Road Under Bridge near Tapovan Circle on Haliyal Road (Level Crossing 300).
‘Our commitment is to make even very small projects a success. I thank Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and officials who are cooperating and approving every one of our projects’ he added further.
