Active Covid-19 cases in Dharwad district crosses 1,000 mark

Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the Dharwad district, and the active cases have crossed the 1,000 cases mark. Dharwad district is witnessing a rise in fresh cases for the past two weeks.

According to the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Dharwad district reported 176 fresh Covid-19 cases. 93 patients have recovered and fortunately, no deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.

Karnataka reported 14,859 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Bengaluru alone reported 9,917 fresh cases. 4,031 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 78 deaths have been reported. Bengaluru alone reported 57 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Kalaburagi, Mysuru, and Tumakuru reported 400+ active cases. And Bengaluru Rural and Bidar reported 300+ fresh cases. At present, India is experiencing the second wave of Covid. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases is increasing day by day. It is expected that India might reach the peak by the end of April.
