Dharwad district has reported 96 fresh Covid-19 cases and 1 death taking the number of active cases in the district to 534. Dharwad district is witnessing the rise of fresh cases for the past two weeks. The total number of deaths in the Dharwad district due to Covid-19 is 634.
So far, 1,51,972 citizens have taken the Covid-19 vaccine in the Dharwad district. Among them, 1,36,789 citizens have taken the first dose and 15,183 citizens have completed their second dose.
Karnataka has reported 6,570 fresh Covid-19 cases yesterday. Bengaluru alone has reported 4,422 cases. Kalaburagi, Mysuru, and Tumakuru recorded 240, 216, and 183 fresh cases respectively.
At present, Karnataka has 53,395 active cases of Covid-19. So far, 12,767 people have lost their life due to Covid-19. Around 10,40,130 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the state so far.
India is experiencing the second wave of Covid-19 at present. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases is increasing day by day. It is expected that India might reach the peak by Mid April.
