Dharwad district has reported 777 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the Dharwad district, and the active cases have crossed 5,500. Dharwad district is witnessing a rise in fresh cases from the last 3-4 weeks.
According to the bulletin released by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Dharwad district reported 777 fresh Covid-19 cases. The good news is that 826 patients have recovered and unfortunately 4 deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
Karnataka reported 47,930 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Bengaluru alone reported 20,897 fresh cases. 31,796 patients have recovered and unfortunately, 490 deaths have been reported. Bengaluru alone reported 281 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Hasana, Bellary, and Tunakuru reported 2000+ fresh Covid-19 cases. Mandya and Mysuru districts reported nearly 2000 fresh cases. At present, India is experiencing the second wave of Covid-19. It is expected that India might reach the peak by May 2nd or 3rd week.
