4 laning of Road from Hubballi Railway Station towards Gadag is almost completed. The work of the same was started around a year back is now getting finishing touches.
The 4 laning is part of Hubballi to Hospet (NH67) Highway up-gradation project to 4 lanes. Take a look at the redeveloped road from SWR headquarters towards Hubballi Railway Station.
Concreting, Lane marking, Street light, and Mud filling for landscaping at the median have been completed. Footpath, Cat-eye reflectors, and Median painting are pending as of now.
Widening of the road has brought respite to the citizens of the Gadag road area. Back then, the road used to experience heavy traffic as it was just 2 lanes wide.
