Delhi Airport witnessed a rare event yesterday as a Pregnant woman bound to Hubballi in Delhi to Hubballi IndiGo flight (6E-5624) delivered the baby Terminal 3 of the Delhi Airport.
The woman went to labour pain before she boarded the Hubballi flight yesterday. The airport authorities rushed the woman to Medanta Healthcare Centre at the airport.
Celebrating the event Delhi Airport tweeted “Welcoming the youngest passenger ever, Celebrating the arrival of the First baby at Delhi Airport, Mother and Child, both are doing well”
Replying to the tweet, netizens suggested that Airport authorities and IndiGo should give Life time Airport entry pass and free travel to the new born.
Responding to the event, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar CEO of Delhi International Airport Limited penned down a letter to the New born baby at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
The letter read “Hello little one, Warmest welcome from Delhi Airport! We are absolutely delighted that you choose Delhi Airport as your very first landing point”.
“We feel absolutely blessed that the runway of your beautiful started from our premises, Here’s wishing that you may fly high in your life in all the years to come” he added.
Videh Kumar Jaipuriar also assured to send a surprise gift to the newborn baby as a token of Care for this happiness.
“Led by Dr. PK Verma, Dr. Praveen Singh and Dr. Amit Upadhyay assisted the mother through the delivery, the Mother and Child are safe and doing well”, tweeted the official account of Medanta.
