Here is some good news for passengers using Hubballi Airport! Airport Authority of India (AAI) has added two Self check-in kiosks at Hubballi Airport to make the check-in process hassle-free.
Passengers can now use the Self check-in kiosks installed at Hubballi Airport to prevent queuing up at the airline counter to get their boarding pass and to complete the check-in process.
Those who have cabin baggage (Hand baggage) only can print their boarding pass from the kiosks. Passengers may then proceed directly towards the Security check.
Passengers can use the kiosk to choose their preferred seat and save time during the check-in process. With kiosks, checking in takes less than a minute.
How to use the Self check-in kiosk? Step 1: At the kiosk, Select your airline for example IndiGo. Step 2: Input your 6-digit Booking reference or PNR Number.
Step 3: Select your preferred seat. Step 4: Read and Agree to the conditions set up for flying with dangerous goods and restricted items. Step 5: Print and collect your Boarding pass.
The only drawback of the kiosk is that passengers with Check-in baggage cannot use the facility. They have to check in at the respective airline counters only.
Besides, the facility also frees up the airline counter to enhance the check-in process which also helps them to maintain On-time performance.
IndiGo operates direct flights from Hubballi Airport to Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune. Except for Delhi (Airbus A320), all other sectors are operated by ATR 72-600 aircraft.
